GPGC has
developed a comprehensive safety program, which encompasses occupational safety
policies and guidelines to ensure that safety considerations are incorporated in
every aspect of the departments operations, as well as training and support
activities of all personnel. The GPGC safety program is a preventative program
driven by a strong safety culture within our organization.
The safety incentive program contributes to the achievement of operational effectiveness by reducing accident related injuries and material losses and by enhancing the overall well-being of employees. Rather than just reacting to incidents and correcting contributing factors, our objective is to be proactive and prevent accidents from occurring. A high level of support is supplied to our foremen, lead men and supervisors from the senior management.
